Khambhala is a village in the Paddhari Taluka(administrative district) of Rajkot – a district in Gujarat – with a population of over 1600 people. Along with Mr. Atul Upadhyay, a senior officer and employee of the Gujarat Agricultural Department, Nakul conducted a seminar spreading awareness about the detrimental effects of synthetic fertilizers and pesticides. They provided over 25 farmers with alternatives and taught them how to make biofertilizers and biopesticides targeting specific types of pests and insects. Nakul provided them with answers for all their questions on the process of zero budget natural farming under the guidance of Mr Upadhyay. Today several of these farmers know how to make biopesticides and biopesticides for their crops and save money while saving their crops as well.
